THE JIE RIU TANG COLLECTION
It is perhaps an understatement to say that Jeffrey Stamen is an avid collector of Chinese porcelain from the Kangxi era. In his 40+ years collecting, he has managed to amass one of the largest and finest private collections in the world—celebrating Kangxi and the myriad innovations in porcelain unique to the era.

I partnered with Jeffrey, art specialist Cynthia Volk, Chinese art scholar Yibin Ni, and photographer Matt Thoman to celebrate what makes these pieces unique for a monograph on the collection entitled "A Culture Revealed." This book served as the primary marketing vehicle for Jeffrey's two record-breaking sales at Sotheby's.
